Maine Rental Vacation Tips

- Choosing a House -- Safety - Location - Size: We try to use these three criteria when finding a home or cottage for you. Some of the homes are located on high cliffs and may not be suitable for younger children. Children must be counted in the head count due to Tip #2.
- Tip #2
- Choose a House for Your Maximum Occupancy: All of our homes have a maximum occupancy. The primary reason is that all of these homes have their own private wells and septic systems. Too many people can stress these systems and can cause problems. Always choose a home with the occupancy in mind.

- Ask for Additional Information: We can supply you with pictures & spec. sheets for all the homes. Showings can be arranged at any time of the year, with ample notice.
- Tip #4
- Pets: Pets are welcome at only a few of our listings. For pet approval you must notify us first. An extra deposit might be required.
- Tip #5
- Computers: If you plan to bring a lap top, some internet providers are a long distance call from Harpswell. We can provide you with the local dail-up service for our area.
