Welcome to Barnacle!

A picture perfect location near the mouth of Lowell's Cove on Orr's Island! Enjoy spectacular views out to the open ocean and neighboring islands. With a wrap around deck perfect for entertaining, this place is the perfect spot for family or friends. Enjoy the convenient access to the 165 feet of water frontage during any tide, to swim, launch your kayak or collect sea glass and shells. This classic Maine cottage is located within walking distance to The Island Candy Company, the world famous Cribstone Bridge, and The Salt Cod Cafe.

Upon arrival pull in and park at the top of the hill. As you walk down over the slope of the grassy yard you will be right next to the water with the cottage perched at the water's edge. After entering there is a full bathroom with a small washer/dryer on your right. To the left includes a bedroom with two twin beds and has its own outside sitting area directly facing the water. Additionally, there is a bedroom with a queen futon in it across the hall. This bedroom has a sliding glass door with direct access to the back deck. The fully equipped kitchen has recently had all appliances updated and there is a gas grill on the deck to maximize your outdoor living. Enjoy the spectacular sitting area with expansive views looking out of the large panoramic windows. Upstairs you will find an open bedroom concept with another set of wall-to-wall windows. The bed is set up so you wake up each morning to the open ocean view. Off of the bedroom, there is a 1/2 bathroom with a toilet and a sink. You will not regret staying in this classic Maine Coastal Cottage!
