From the moment you arrive, the scent of salty sea air and the soothing sound of lapping water will melt your worries away. Beautifully landscaped gardens frame the property, leading you to a welcoming outdoor oasis complete with a patio, charcoal grill, picnic table, outdoor furniture, and a firepit perfect for evening s’mores under the stars.
Step inside and you’ll be greeted by a newly remodeled kitchen, thoughtfully updated while preserving the cottage’s classic charm. Just off the kitchen is a brand-new bathroom with a stand-up shower. Continue into the cozy living room, bright, comfortable, and surrounded by windows capturing stunning river views. Rosedale offers two inviting bedrooms: one with a queen-size bed and one with a full-size bed. Beyond the living room, the riverfront sunporch sits directly over the water and features a daybed for an additional guest. With its panoramic views and soothing atmosphere, this is where many guests spend most of their time.
The cottage is equipped with WiFi, local TV, and internet-capable programming, so you can stay connected, of course, that's if you want to.
Outdoors, Rosedale truly shines. With its private pier and brand-new, expansive deep-water dock with a swim ladder, you’ll have unmatched access for swimming, kayaking, fishing, and boating. While some areas of the New Meadows River go shallow at low tide, Rosedale enjoys reliable deep-water access year-round. And for those bringing a boat, New Meadows Marina is less than a mile away for easy launching or rentals.
When you’re ready to explore beyond the peninsula, the charming towns of Bath and Brunswick offer restaurants, cafés, galleries, shops, theaters, museums, and a delightful small-town ambiance.
